Prayer

The concept of prayer is whatever you of make it.  Generally speaking, it's about asking for something good to occur in your own or another person's life, or perhaps asking for higher levels of peace, happiness, and faith across the world.  Prayer is both self-centered and other-centered.

Prayer is one of the most powerful tools we have for healing - Ask and you shall receive! It is a tool of religious organisations, and has some very powerful connotations.  Yet away from religion, it doesn't have to lose its power.  How many times have you heard, or used, the phrase 'I prayed to God', or 'God help me!'.God does hear and does help.  You just need to have your ears open for the answer... and it will be instantaneous

Living with Angels

Hello and welcome dear friend,

We know that you've been waiting for us to come into your life!  We are here now and can help you with anything at all. Just ask!

As you write down all that you seek our guidance for, remember that we are One.  As you ask for our help, you are calling on your own inner-resources and support system to guide you too.  So, listen, hear and act upon your intuition.

Once we are here, by your side, you can count on us to bring you guidance in many ways.  Remember who you are friend - you are Spirit, simply living out a human life at this time.

You are welcome to call on us at any time of stress or need, or simply to request that we make life easier and flow more fluidly.

Warm wishes, friend

Your Angel.

Healing Stress

Stress is one of our biggest health problems.  It is said to be the cause of everything from cancer to anger to the common cold.  So, what do we do about it?

All stress comes from two factors - high demands on our system and a lack of resilience to support us! Here are some of the tips I have offered to others through guidance from Spirit.

These tips aim to calm the mind and body, whilst helping you develop a connection to yourself. They will help you develop inner-resources so stress becomes less of a problem in your life.

Breathe: The first thing we do when stress starts to creep up on us is to stop breathing. We forget that the more air in our system, the better we are able to cope.  Air brings life to the body - including mental capacity! Try this short exercise:

Sit or lie somewhere quiet.  Take in a breath, feeling the air flow through your nose or mouth and into your body.  As you exhale, feel the breath moving out through your nose or mouth expelling whatever you no longer need from your body.  Repeat this exercise at least three times, or until you feel more at ease with yourself.

Time out: In the heat of a stressful moment, we need to step away.  Let the mind move to other things, momentarily, before coming back to what you are doing. If things get tough, you start to feel angry or frustrated, take a walk or go outside. If you allow the mind to clear this way, you will find it easier to pick up again and get on with the job!
